What ID documents do I need to send?

If you have been asked to provide ID documents, then we will require a photo ID (Group A), as well as a proof of address (Group B). In order to make this as painless as possible, we do ask that read you the below guide to find out what documents can be accepted and what standard they need to be.

You can send any documents to us by taking a clear and large photo using a smartphone or scanner, and emailing it to us at help@osper.com.


Group A

If you have been asked to provide a proof of ID, then we would require you to send us one of the below documents:

Passport
UK Driving Licence

Please ensure this document is:

  • A valid document
  • Showing all details of the document (Cropped and folded documents cannot be accepted)
  • A colour copy

You can find an example of a good and bad document below:


Group B

If we have requested a proof of address then we would require one of the below documents:

UK Driving Licence - If not already used in Group A
Bank or Mortgage statement - Credit card statements cannot be accepted
Government headed document (e.g. from HMRC or DWP)
Utility Bill
Council tax statement

Please ensure this document is:

  • Dated within the last 3 months
  • Showing all details of the document (Cropped and folded documents cannot be accepted)
  • Received in the post and not a digital version
Please note that letters from the NHS or introductory offers from a utility provider cannot be accepted. It must be a valid bill or statement.
